At Taupō Tutoring we provide personalised programmes of learning based on student needs and the NZ curriculum. 

Our aim is to help students explore learning, master new skills, find joy in learning and build confidence through success. 

Our qualified and experienced teachers work with groups of up to 4 students in 70 minute sessions at a range of times from Monday - Friday.

We cater for students from 5 years to adulthood. Literacy and Numeracy are our areas of focus. 

A free initial assessment and discussion with parents helps determine the direction of lessons. Ongoing lessons are shaped by student needs and engagement.

Building confidence through success

From 5 years old to adulthood

Our main focus is on:

  • Early Reading
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics

While we mostly tutor primary and secondary aged students, we also work with adults, and sometimes with younger children.

We support older children preparing for NCEA (Maths and English); as well as MCAT (Mathematics Common Assessment Task).

Additionally, we work with students on apprenticeships and those that need to pass entry tests for the Police or the Armed Forces.
